GBC ‘21: A Virtual Affair

First of all, welcome to spring! Though St. Patrick’s Day was under lock and key, a new season will hopefully bring more welcome changes to our situation. It is also only fitting that our first event of 2021 should be on the first day of spring.

Our Green Business Conference was different from past years in that it was an (obviously) virtual event. However, the event was still a tremendous success.

First, we opened with a wonderful keynote presentation from Jessica (Random Acts of Green), where she discussed inclusivity and positive messaging in environmental action. Next, we heard from Sean (GREENish) about best marketing practices. Then, Nikole (Green Schools Green Future) wrapped up our speakers roster with her presentation on business growth and logistics. Finally, we wrapped up our event with some amazing presentations on green and equitable businesses, complemented by expert feedback from our judges, Nikole, Sofia (Pitch It Green), and Shannon (Euclid Farms).

Again, the event was tremendously successful and we would like to sincerely thank all of our speakers, judges, and sponsors. Without them, our event would not have come to pass.

Additionally, looking forward to April, stay tuned for our summer webinar, some giveaways coming up in the next few weeks, and the launching of our LinkedIn networking group! Until then, stay safe and follow us on social media for updates and fun info-graphics.
