UX/UI Designer (1)

Location: Remote

Duration: 20-30 hours per week over 4 months in May 1 - August 31

Reports To: Co-Executive Director, Web Developer

Works With: Web Developer, Youth Green Careers Specialist

Tentative Start Date: May 2

Salary: $15 - $20 per hour commensurate with experience and being Canada Summer Jobs program eligible

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Meeting with management to discuss the plan and needs of the new website

• Collaborating with team members to determine the website’s layout, content, and design

• Integrating graphics, tools, animations, and video into the website

• Creating and testing applications for the website

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles

• Proficient in design software

• Excellent communication skills

• A portfolio of work building other websites available for the assessment of skills in user experience/interface design during application process

Assets:

• Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role

• Bilingualism in English and French
